What is Biltong?

Biltong is a flavorful, air-dried, and cured meat snack that originated in South Africa. It’s commonly made from beef (or venison, such as deer) and is cherished for its rich taste and tender texture.

How is Our Biltong Made?

The process begins with sourcing high-quality cuts of beef, which are sliced into strips and marinated in a blend of vinegar and authentic South African spices. This marinade infuses the meat with its distinctive flavor.

Once seasoned, the strips dried in a cool, well-ventilated space and in specialized biltong drying cabinets. This careful drying process ensures the meat retains its unique taste and texture.

How to Eat Biltong?

Biltong sticks and ready-cut biltong are perfect for snacking straight from the bag, while uncut biltong slabs are best sliced into your bite-sized chunks using a sharp knife or a biltong cutter.

Biltong is a great on-the-go snack on its own, but it's also a versatile addition to snack platters, salads, or sandwiches, bringing a bold, savory beef flavor to every bite.
